The first month of therapy was intense and there have been plenty of difficult moments.

Our little buck has had to undergo the dose calibration of the experimental drug, which obviously came with all sorts of side effects and, at some points, a possible worsening of the disease.

We have not let our guard down!!

We started a new series of tests that make us worry as much for the results as for the “dark side” of the American Health System. The period was difficult and it still is. As we say in Italy, it is never Sunday…

Nevertheless, our new life in Houston is becoming more stable and based less on temporary arrangements. We found a house. It is cheaper, but it needs furniture and utilities. We found a car as well. A rental car is comfortable, but not sustainable on the long run. We still fight a bureaucracy that is different from ours and a language that we have not yet fully acquired.

We feel strong, but our life is a little complicated…

We came here looking for a time of happiness to come…
